Blue Point Brewery was founded in 1997 by two good friends that were home brewers. Some good fortune and smarts helped them find and equip the brewery, which is located in the marine area of Patchogue, Long Island. Their name is taken from the Blue Point Oysters harvested there. You can find lots more information on their excellent website - it's one of the most informative I've ever seen. Weighted average on ratebeer.com is 3.14 out of 5.
