Tap Handle #37: HardCore Crisp Hard Cider
A very rare tap that is no longer manufactured; newer taps are round and black with lettering. This one is unique as it wasn't sculpted out of resin but was cut from wood with a very lengthy and colorful decal applied.
HardCore is a venture by the Boston Brewing Company (the guys that make Samuel Adams) that is brewed in Cincinnati, Ohio. Created in 2007, it is kept separate from the Samual Adams brand and does not appear to have its own website. HardCore manufactures a few different cider varieties, such as Black Cider and Golden Cider (which have similar taps to Crisp but are colored black and gold respectively). Weighted average for Crisp Hard Cider on ratebeer.com is 2.8 out of 5.
