Tap Handle #46: Abita - Amber Crawfish

Although the Abita Andygator tap I featured in my last post is rare, this tap is even more so. It is, of course, no longer made.

Abita Amber is a Munich-style amber lager that is part of their "flagship brews" line. It was the first beer brewed by Abita and remains their best seller. Recommended food pairings are smoked sausages, cajun food, gumbo, red pasta sauces, and fried catfish. Weighted average on ratebeer.com is 2.64 out of 5.
