Tap #388: Oceanside Ale Works - American Strong Ale

Tap size:  11.25"
Rarity:  Very Rare
Mounting:  standard 3/8" ferrule on 5/16" hanger bolt

This is probably one of only a few patriotic-themed taps I've ever seen. The revolutionary soldier at the top of the tap is well done, and the layout of the tap is very similar to the OAW Blonde tap I covered back in entry #330. It is double sided so that the back is a reverse image of the front, although the OAW appears only on the front. It seems to be pretty rare.

Click through to read more about OAW's American Strong Ale and see more photos of the tap...

Oceanside Ale Works American Strong Ale has an intense hop flavor from six different American hop varieties, backed up by a malty base.

Ratebeer weighted average:  3.65
Beer Advocate:  no rating
