Most of the versions of this tap that I spot are usually missing the base that identifies the brand. It's not very detailed, but I like it anyway.

Island Brewing was founded in Carpenteria, California by Paul Wright in 2000. After getting a home brewing kit for Christmas in 1991, Wright joined the local brew club in Novato and promptly won awards. He soon became president of the club and headed up the Marin County State Fair competitions. He became a certified beer judge and worked for Marin Brewing Company before founding Island Brewing near the popular surf area known as the "Tar Pits", and gaining a following of enthusiasts along the Santa Barbara coast.

Island Weiss is an unfiltered Bavarian-style Hefeweizen, with hints of vanilla, citrus, banana, and clover.  Weighted average on ratebeer.com is 2.63 out of 5.
