Tap Handle #105: Angry Orchard - Crisp Apple

This is an extraordinary tap, probably one of my favorites. The detail is amazing and it has a matte finish instead of high gloss. This is the smaller of the two varieties (this one is 9"). I have since acquired the 11" tap, and gave the smaller one to Kelly. It is the most popular tap on this site.

Angry Orchard is a division of Boston Beer Company, and makes 3 varieties of hard cider. The first batch was released for sale in fall of 2011 and sales have been brisk. It is distributed mostly in the eastern states, but does get as far west as Colorado. Crisp Apple is described as the sweetness of apples mixed with a dryness for a balanced taste. Weighted average on is 3.01 out of 5.
